I'm gonna start working out

I'm not telling you all this so you'll keep me accountable. In fact, if you call me on NOT working out, our friendship is over. No, I'm serious. Finito.

Anyway, I made this silly resolution to lose weight this year. It's time. I've been hanging on to it for about 9 years. Eating is fun. Being chubs is not.

Since I made this commitment to myself I've been noticing the way people talk to/about each other. I notice a lot of folks belittle people for their weight. I even saw a blogpost that someone put up that called someone a dough boy because the man was "pouring out" of his seat & blocking this couples' movie view. And the guy that wrote it & his wife are both overweight.

I never want to be the person who says or does hurtful things. I know I have in the past. Maybe even about someone's weight. I think most of us could stand to be a little healthier. Maybe that includes mental health too, cuz making fun of people is jacked up.

I'll b cheering you on! We need to get to our healthy weights so that we look smokin hot for our hubbies, and maybe for the girls weekend, we can go somewhere with a pool :) Incentives work...

I could always stand to lose a few and shut my mouth more often about others. Thanks for the reminder.

You go girl. One good saying I've heard over the years that helps...

"Nothing tastes as good as thin feels."

Good thing to think about when you want that candy bar or chips.

We're doing a daily journal...a few of my friends and I if you're interested in joining? Let me know! Either way I know you can do it. And talk about making me LOL with that first paragraph of your blog!! I love it!!

I totally know what you're saying.

Best of luck in your weight loss endeavors. I KNOW it can be done. I lost 40 pounds two summers ago.

You go girl!

Hey, would you mind pen palling with me about Granger? We are moving there from Cali (crazy, I know)at the end of the month and we seem to have that 6 degrees of separation thing going on. I am friends with Kristi (applesauce), the Whittaker's and I actually went to the same youth group as Daley but I don't know him. Hope this does not seem weird, it would just be nice to get your take on the area since you relocated there. Thanks!
