RagamuffinTop Challenge

This is week 3 in the RagamuffinTop Challenge. I'm posting a day early because I'm super busy tomorrow. Tackling the yard & some kitchen cabinet smack down!!!

So my hubby bought me a scale to (ahem) "help" w/ my weight loss. So far all it's done is confirm that I need to lose more weight than I thought I did.

Does that happen to any of you ladies? You don't realize how much you've really gained after 15 years of "after graduation" life, kids, bags & bags of Oreos? You think I'm kidding, but I'm not. I can eat a package of double stuff in one sitting....even w/ no gall bladder...TOP THAT!

I know, NOT something to be proud of.

So this week I did a lot of walking, and cut back portions by about 1/3. Tonight I walked to Gwen Stefani, JT & a little Blackstreet.

And, in total, I've lost (drum roll please).....5 whole lbs. And this is the only current pic I have. I've lost 3 more lbs. since this pic was taken by Daley Hake...a.k.a. "The Jam"

This is a great picture! Nice to put a face with the name, too. :) And I feel your pain. Right now I weigh 40 pounds more than I did when I was in college. 40! 40!!!! I weigh more than I did in my ninth month of my highest pregnancy. It's just depressing. I have so much to lose. It's almost so much that I can't get started, if that makes sense. I think if I needed to lose five pounds, that wouldn't sound so daunting. But 40?? Sounds impossible. It makes me hungry just thinking about it.

I had no idea I weighed so much. My first goal is 25 lbs, my second is ANOTHER 20 lbs.

It's gonna be a long process, but I'd like to get into ALL NEW habits.

Nice job this week! It's always, always hard to lose weight but I've found that keeping a blog and sharing my goals is a great help.

Good luck!

5lbs! That so awesome!!

I just bought a new scale also and realised the 15 year old analog scale was so obviously wrong, so my weight was higher than I had first thought. I was pretty bummed but I am still losing and thats a good thing.

I am so excited that you lost an entire 5lbs!
Congrats!
